Arlington Heights, IL
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
It has long been said that "the best predictor of future behavior is past performance."
No one gets a job offer by simply saying, "Sure, I can do that."
The interviewer wants to hear that the candidate has the experience and wants to be able to picture them filling a gap in their organization.
Preparing a pool of stories and being ready to share the right story for the right opportunity is the goal of this class. We will cover:
1. Storytelling 101:
Elements of a story: Situation, Action, Result (SARs)
What are success stories, where do they come from
Developing success stories (Practical Exercise The 1st Story)
A pool of success stories & 3X5 cards
2. Where, when and how to use the success story:
Giving the interviewer what they are looking for
3. The Rest of the Story :
Using stories to relieve stress before the interview
