The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco in conjunction with the U.S. Small Business Administration invite you to a trade finance workshop on the subject of government and state guarantee and technical assistance programs available to banks for financing small business development. The workshop will be held twice, once in San Francisco and again in Los Angeles. Both events will be at the Federal Reserve Bank.
This is an "invitation only" event for bankers only and is limited to two people per institution.
The purpose of this event is to support safe and sound lending practices and to assist local bankers in complying with the requirements of the Community Reinvestment Act. To open the discussion, an OCC economist will report on local economic activity. The agenda will include overviews of the U.S. SBA Export Program, the Export-Import Bank Program, the California State Small Business Credit Initiative, and a local SBDC to showcase the technical assistance provided under these programs.
