Detailed Descriptions of Courses
Course 1 – Unlocking Your Inspired Potential
We believe that inspiration plays a critical role in well-being and satisfaction in life, work, and relationships. Inspiration at its core is what guides all of us to connect with our purpose, motivates us to pursue dreams and take risks, and sustains us through challenging times. Ultimately, inspiration supports us in unlocking our potential so we can have the greatest impact on our own lives and the lives of others.
This course will guide participants through several activities that will deepen their understanding of inspiration and how it uniquely impacts their lives. Participants will: practice finding and recognizing inspiration in their lives; clarify their values, strengths, and purpose in order to develop more of their own inspiration; relate their physical health to inspiration; and express commitment and courage toward achieving specific goals and dreams.
Course 2 – Bringing Inspiration to Life
We believe that inspiration comes to life when we are able to access it regularly on our path to achieving our goals. We do this by creating and telling powerful and inspired stories about our lives. The stories we tell ourselves and others set the framework for what we believe is possible and likely in our lives. By actively making sense of our lives, relationships, and work, we are able to connect our everyday actions to a larger sense of purpose—an inspired purpose—and to lead others to do the same.
This course will guide participants through several activities that will help them create, clarify, and express their inspired purpose. Participants will: understand the role of key life experiences, advocates and role models; learn how emotions like hope, grit, and passion can cultivate resilience in the face of obstacles; develop inspired stories about their lives and practice sharing them; and, take this learning into their world to create new possibilities, achieve goals, and feel more fulfilled.
Course 3 – Creating Inspiring Relationships
We believe that inspired relationships act as the fuel that powers us in sustaining new practices. It is through connection to others that we breathe new life into our own inspiration. Without supportive relationships, we may lose hope or motivation for achieving our goals and dreams. We may lose sight of our inspired purpose. Recognizing, creating, and sustaining these inspiring relationships requires self-awareness, intention, and effort as well as general interpersonal skills.
This course will guide participants through several activities that will help them identify and cultivate inspiring relationships. Participants will learn critical practices that support inspiring relationships, such as emotional intelligence, social influence, vulnerability, active listening, and curiosity. Finally, participants will learn ways to support others’ inspired dreams by coaching and mentoring and creating shared meaning.
