This session will examine how nonprofit governance is changing in order to address intensifying and complex social, legislative and economic demands. We will discuss the changing requirements for serving on a board, how to increase the performance of your Board and the engagement of each member. You'll also learn how to leverage the talents and critical thinking of the Board to strengthen the nonprofit's capacity and ability to grow and thrive. Learn how to build a “best practicing” board, how exceptional nonprofit boards are responding to and positioning for a changing environment, and how exceptional boards transform their governance and advance their leadership practices. Designed for nonprofit managers, board officers, board members, and individuals considering board service.
