Insights for a New Era
A Pachamama Alliance Event with John Perkins and Arkan Lushwala, hosted by Lynne Twist
The Pachamama Alliance invites you to an exciting journey of discovery from 7-10 PM on Friday, November 15, 2013. During this special opportunity, you will learn from two teachers, John Perkins and Arkan Lushwala as they explore the driving forces behind today’s global issues, as well as the relationship shamanism has with the modern world.
We have entered a time prophesied by indigenous cultures around the world as one rich with opportunity for a revolutionary transformation in consciousness. Pachamama Alliance Co-Founder Lynne Twist will guide participants in a conversation about transformation, and what each of us can do as individuals to create a thriving, just, and sustainable world.
While volunteering in the Peace Corps in the Amazon and Andes, John Perkins learned from indigenous peoples that “the world is as you dream it”, and has since continued to be taught by spiritual leaders around the world. Co-Founder of The Pachamama Alliance and Dream Change, John’s commitment is to “create a world our grandchildren will want to inherit.” Devoted to facilitating changes in social, political, and economic systems, he has written many books including The World Is As You Dream It and Confessions of an Economic Hitman. He also teaches those in the industrial world how to bring forth personal and global transformation.
Born and raised in Peru, Arkan Lushwala is a teacher, ceremonial leader, and healer, who is also trained in the Lakota Tradition of North American. Arkan currently leads ceremonies in New Mexico where he focuses on teaching others practices that can restore balance to the planet. Author of The Time of the Black Jaguar, Arkan engages his readers through ancient wisdom, calling them to participate in work that will help heal our planet and humanity.
This is a gift from The Pachamama Alliance to our wonderful community. Whether you are able to come to the Luncheon on November 14th or not, we hope you will be able to join us for this special event. We welcome you to invite friends and family to participate in this experience, and explore how they can strengthen their communities and the world as a whole.
