Join us for our exclusive and very entertaining San Francisco culinary tours with Emmy Award-Winning Broadcaster Liam Mayclem of KCBS 5’s “Eye on the Bay” and “Foodie Chap” on KCBS. Get behind the scenes and meet the chefs, bartenders and artisans that drive the City’s iconic food and beverage destinations, and taste your way though the culinary history of San Francisco.
The Inside the Kitchen tours are inspired by San Francisco’s neighborhoods, as well as the city’s food history and current trends. Each tour includes round-trip luxury transportation from The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco, at least four tour stops with complimentary tastes and fun surprises along the way, special keepsake mementos, a Ritz-Carlton signature tote and, at the day's conclusion, an optional four-course group dinner at Parallel 37, the acclaimed Union Square restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco, by Chef Michael Rotondo.
HOLIDAY COCKTAIL TOUR
San Francisco is known internationally for its cocktail culture and history, from the Barbary Coast of the 1800s to present-day innovators. This tour starts at Comstock Saloon in North Beach, a bar and restaurant that meticulously recreates the Barbary Coast era where owner and author Jeff Hollinger will pour a drink or two and share tales of the early days of the City’s cocktail mavericks while sharing some turn-of-the-century bites. Then explore the City’s very own pirate lair at the next stop, Smuggler’s Cove, widely regarded as one of the best Tiki bars in the United States, for a Tiki lesson from owner and rum expert Martin Cate. The journey continues with a whisky tasting at Chef Charles Phan’s newest restaurant and bar, Hard Water. The final stop on the tipsy trail is a tasting at Burritt Room, before ending the evening with more cocktails and dinner at Parallel 37 at The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco, provided by bar star Camber Lay and Chef Michael Rotondo. Each Inside the Kitchen tour is $199 per person, with a maximum of 12 guests per tour.
The optional four-course dinner in Parallel 37 is $100 per person, including beverage pairing, tax and gratuity. Reservations are are required in advance. There is a 48-hour cancellation policy.
