Ms.Cheryl Miller is a serial social entrepreneur with 20 years of international experience in the tech and ICT sectors. She has led global stakeholder outreach campaigns promoting girls and women in ESTEAM (entrepreneurship, science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) sectors, including Science: It's a Girl Thing, Every Girl Digital and EU Women: Female Role Models in the Digital Age, and has conceived and deployed several successful brands within the portolio of the Digital Leadership Institute, of which she is Founder and Executive Director. Cheryl has a wealth of experience in teaching and coaching on entrepreneurship (especially strategic planning and marketing) and digital skills, particularly digital design, creative online independence, digital branding and online distribution. Specific initiatives of DLI include the AdaAwards.com, Women2020.org, inQube.eu, DigitalMuse.org, g-hive.org and InspireGirls.org.
Cheryl has a degree in International Relations, Law & Organizations from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and a Master of International Business Studies, with concentration in International Marketing, Operations & MIS, from the Moore School of Business.
This event marks the third installment in the 2014 inQube Online Expert Café and Expert Seminar Series "Stop Stopping and Start Starting" - brought to you by the Digital Leadership Institute and Microsoft Europe - that aim to explore the challenges faced by (digital) female starters and to deliver practical, expert advice to help them through the early stages of (digital) startup.
