New Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Offering:
Oracle IaaS enables organizations to deploy fully integrated Engineered Systems, including Oracle Exadata Database Machine, Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud, Oracle SPARC SuperCluster, Oracle Exalytics In-Memory Machine and Oracle Sun ZFS Storage Appliance in their data centers behind their firewall. The on-premise, private cloud infrastructure provides organizations with total control and visibility over their IT environments, enabling them to meet internal and regulatory compliance and security requirements. Oracle IaaS includes elastic compute Capacity on Demand, enabling customers to easily add and remove processing capacity to meet their changing workloads.
Oracle Public Cloud:
We will discuss the services provided today by Oracle Cloud. The emphasis will be on database and Java services available to build out Platform as a Service (PaaS) solution. We will discuss availability, pricing, and capabilities offered by these services.
Oracle Private Cloud:
This is a fast growing segment within Oracle. As customers learn, implement, and migrate to cloud-based strategies, IT organizations are quickly incorporating the key features of Cloud into their internal configurations, funding, and operations. Learn how Oracle helps customers build internal clouds.
Enablement of Cloud via Oracle Enterprise Manager:
Enterprise Manager is becoming one of the fastest growing technologies in Oracle's portfolio. As Cloud gains more attention by executives and staff, a central realization is the essential need for automation, standardization, and consolidation. Not only is Cloud breaking new technology ground, it is quickly reorganizing existing technologies and making them much more efficient. This session will spend time on how to incorporate lifecycle management, provisioning, gold images, self-service, and chargeback to reach new levels of automation and agility.
Data Integration with the Cloud:
Moving data in and out of the cloud. Oracle has a couple of products that not only ease interfacing with Cloud Services, they can transform how you move data within your enterprise.
