Demo Day is the final event of Inno/Vention, NYU's startup prototyping competition. Teams have spent the last few months taking an idea, prototyping it and it will all end with a showcase of commercially viable ventures. Competitors will pitch their ideas to a panel of investors and key stakeholders in NYC. Judges will choose the top three overall as well as a top hardware and a top software teams from the 6 that are presenting.
What is Inno/Vention
Inno/Vention is one of the only competitions that not only competes on the best idea but shows competitors how to create it and ultimately the team who is able to best build their idea out will win. For the teams that have it made this far in the competition, win or lose on Demo Day the competitors will all be able to continue building out their idea because this competition is more than just prize money, it is an opprotunity to learn what it takes and the skills/knowledge necessary to build an idea.
Come out for free food doors open and cocktail hour begins at 5pm, and get a chance to see the next stage of student startup at Spotify HQ!
