Innovation Camp (I-Camp) is a half-day program where young people gather and work collaboratively to address a specific business challenge and identify business opportunities to solve that challenge.
It is an intense experience for youth as they are divided into teams that compete against each other through a set of recreational activities and educational games. Each team is guided by a professional corporate volunteer from the private sector and given access to specific tools, information and resources. Throughout the I Camp, students learn several entrepreneurship skills and develop their team building skills. It is an inspiring and motivational experience that challenges students to be creative working under tight deadlines.
During the I-Camp, students work on several key topics before moving to the business challenge. These include:
- Importance of Networking
- Meaning of Inspiration
- What are my Skills
- How to Problem Solve
- What is Entrepreneurship
They will than move to the Business Challenge exercise: Several groups of students will be given the same challenge. They will identify a business opportunity to solve that challenge and will develop a business plan that will be presented to a panel of judges.
This event will be run by Bedaya Center and Injaz Qatar on Saturday 17th from 10 am to 2 pm
