Innovate Berkeley East Bay Social and Civic Innovation Leader Dinners are informal monthly gatherings for Impact Hub members and East Bay thought leaders to share ideas about how Berkeley and other East Bay communities can realize their potential as hubs of entrepreneurial activity. Innovate Berkeley is a community grounded on principles of civic engagement, sustainable cities development, and social and environmental innovation.

Peter Hirshberg is at the epicenter of the noisy, connected world of online conversation. A Silicon Valley executive with several high profile marketing and branding related ventures, Peter has led emerging media and technology companies at the center of disruptive change for more than 20 years. Peter is Chairman of The Re:imagine Group, a fast growing agency helping brands with strategy and marketing in a world of empowered connected audiences. He has worked with executive teams at Best Buy, Sony, IBM, Verizon, Estee Lauder, Telefonica and many others on digital and growth strategies.
Peter was founder and CEO of Elemental Software (sold to Macromedia in 1999) and served as president and CEO of Gloss.com, the online prestige beauty retailer co-­owned by Estee Lauder Companies, Chanel and Clarins. During a nine year tenure at Apple Computer, Hirshberg headed Enterprise Marketing, where he grew Apple's large business and government revenue to $1 billion annually. Also he led the company’s entry into the online service arena, online banking and financial services. He developed Apple’s early partnerships with Chase, Citibank, Manufactures Hanover and Chemical Bank helping to market some of the first ever home banking offerings.
Peter is a frequent technology and media industry speaker, having presented at TED, the World Economic Forum, Digital Life Design Conference, the Entertainment Gathering, the 140 Character Conference, Agenda, The Aspen Ideas Festival, TIEcon, CeBIT, WEB 2.0 Summit, and many other events.

Amy is the founder and visionary of multiple successful East Bay eateries, including Happy Belly Deli & Café,Venus Restaurant, and Revival Bar + Kitchen. Revival is proud to refer to itself Berkeley’s own local Foodshed, complete with artisan cocktails, handmade delicacies from local growers, happy charcuterie, and thoughtfully prepared California food in a revived 1901 classic building. Snout to tail, root to shoot, Revival offers local, organic and dynamic food, sourced from local food sheds from within 100 miles.
