Injury Prevention and recovery for optimal performance gains

Come join CrossFit Potrero Hill on Sunday November 10th as they host ultramarathoner, former Team USA triathlete, ART practitioner, and Holistic Lifestyle Coach Rachel Baker from Balanced Life San Francisco.
Rachel has been involved with the endurance community for 13 years. Not only has she raced triathlon, ultra-trail marathon, and endurance events around the world, she has also been working with endurance athletes, fighters, surfers, dancers, and athletes of all levels with injury rehabilitation, injury prevention, lifestyle programming to optimize permormance.
The presentation will be 45 minutes with the following topics covered:
1. Fascia, Adhesions, and how limited range of motion can cause injury patterns.
2. How to increase this mobility through different modalities.
3. Foods to eat and foods to avoid at different phases of training, different weekly loads, and how to manage living in the real world outside of the gym.
4. Rest, sleep, meditation, and other helpful practices for tissue recovery.
