In collaboration with swissnex Boston, International Poster Gallery presents a panel discussion and gallery talk on the Swiss poster’s impact on international design, especially in the mid-20th century. Speakers include Chris Pullman, designer and artist, senior critic, graphic design program at Yale University and former VP for design and branding at WGBH, and gallery owner Jim Lapides. The program accompanies a one-day exhibition and sale of poster masterpieces drawn from the Gallery’s world-leading Swiss collection. The posters illustrate Swiss design’s leadership in creating a graphic vocabulary for the complex, global realities of modern society. Refreshments to follow.
