Event Details

Part of the 2013 Expecting Goodness Short Film Festival programming, HUB-BUB and the Hub City Writers Project invite you to a screening of select short film made as part of the Indie Grants Program, a joint partnership between the South Carolina Film Commission and the film school at Trident Technical College, some of which have been official selections at international film festivals.
The night will feature:

The Debutante Hunters  12:00
Director:  Maria White
In the Lowcountry of South Carolina a group of true Southern belles reveal their more rugged side, providing a glimpse into what drives them to hunt in the wild.


Dirty Silverware  15:00
Director: Steve Daniels

A man travels deep into the forest to stop an ancient creature from creating cursed silverware that brings unhappiness to the world.

: A Dream  6:00 
Writer/Director:  Lyon Hill 
A woman's dream, where shadowy figures chase her through a barren city and perform a strange, underground ritual.
Pencil Point  6:00
Director: Ayala Asherov-Kalus
A dialogue between animation and original music performed by a recorded live orchestra. Explores the paradox of less face to face interpersonal communication in today's hyperconnected and all too often synthesized world.
