Panel Discussion with local leaders on effective methods of guiding and inspiring others
Joe K Slaughter, CEO and Chairman, Herff Jones, Inc.
Mr. Slaughter began his Herff Jones career as a Grand Rapids sales representative in 1973. He serves on the boards of Cornerstone University, The Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, Center for Leadership Development, Global Business leadership Center, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Matthew R Watkins, Curriculum Sales, Herff Jones Nystrom
After teaching high school English, Mr. Watkins entered administration and spent 13 years in school leadership positions. He was a part of integrating best practices in his schools, led professional development training for teachers, self-study accreditation reports, and investigated relevant educational concepts.
Stacey Blanton, VP, Commercial Banker, Star Financial Bank
Ms. Blanton has led and managed successful branches, teams, and groups within her organization. Her roles have included CFO, Mentor/Trainer, and Team Leader for product specialization.
Michele Saysana, M.D., FAAP, IU Health
Ms. Saysana is a pediatric hospitalist and the medical director for quality and safety at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health. She also served as the director of their pediatric hospital medicine program and is an assistant professor of clinical pediatrics at IU School of Medicine.
