As you walk into the class, you’ll be greeted with hot chai.
We will begin the class by preparing garlic rasam or otherwise known as garlic mulligatawny soup. This spicy, tangy, and garlic-y soup is a South Indian favorite and soon will be yours!
After that, we'll cook a chana masala from scratch. We'll prepare the masala base ourselves and cook this dish using fresh spices and other ingredients. We'll pair our chana masala with rotis - handmade flat breads made from whole wheat flour. I will teach you a trick that will help you make thin and round rotis every time :)
Nothing out of a can, tube, or jar will be used in my class, we do everything from scratch.
This incredibly healthy meal is vegetarian as well.
