As you walk into the class, you’ll be greeted with hot milk chai.

We begin the class with Apricot Chicken Curry - bone-on chicken cooked with fresh herbs, spices, and apricot. This slightly tangy and spicy chicken curry is so off the hook that it will surely become one of your regulars in your own kitchen!

We'll pair our Apricot Chicken Curry with Vegetable Biryani - high quaity basmati rice cooked with fresh mixed vegetables, herbs, and spices to perfection. I'll teach you how to cook a fluffy vegetable biryani, as opposed to a mushy one. This is not only a fancy little dish, but also very healhty. Wait till you get to enjoy the various aromas from the rice, vegetables, and spices, it is truly amazing.

Lastly, we'll prepare Pedas - a milk based Indian dessert that all Indians adore. I'll explain the lengthy method of making these and then teach you how to cheat a little bit, but still maintain the awesome taste and integrity of these lovely little pedas.

NOTE: this is a hands-on cooking class, you'll prep, cook, and eat during the class. You'll have an opportunity not only to learn some great recipes, but also good kitchen skills and practices. I prepare nothing ahead of time, we do everything during the class :) All of the ingredients will be fresh, nothing canned or preserved is allowed in my kitchen.

NOTE: this class doesn't have an appetizer, please eat a snack before coming in.
