Event Details

Why are some companies thriving during this economic downturn….when so many others are faltering? Is it a matter of being in the right place at the right time? Are only a few companies destined to succeed? Guest speaker Jeff Goldberg has the answer. It’s all in the selling. His company, Jeff Goldberg & Associates’ mission is to teach and inspire others to enjoy selling in a direct, honest and highly profitable way. Jeff will share techniques for finding more prospects, shortening the sales cycle and making more money. If you’re not getting the sales you need to grow your business, this is the seminar for you! Join the Independent Business Women’s Circle (IBWC) on May 14th and take home invaluable information on selling the right way - while meeting smart, savvy business men and women who share your aspirations. The seminar fee is $20 for non-members and $5 for members. A buffet lunch is included. RSVP to ibwc@ymail.com or call Karen at 631.754.6640. Learn more about the IBWC on Facebook, LinkedIn and www.ibwc.org.

Organizer

Independent Business Women's Circle of Long Island & Queens

The Independent Business Women’s Circle helps women (and men) launch and/or build their businesses through seminars, panel discussions, guest blogging, networking, brainstorming, expos, speaker opportunities and member spotlight presentations. Founded in 1999 as a meeting ground for women who worked from home, the nonprofit organization has grown in size and focus, while keeping abreast of current trends in communications, marketing and technology. The IBWC has a multicultural philosophy with no political agenda. Most members are self-employed, others work for established companies, often in an independent capacity.  The group stresses camaraderie not competition, as we believe that it is truly through relationship-building and information/resource-sharing that women can grow, take risks, create successful businesses, cultivate new clients and careers, share trade secrets, and enrich their personal and professional lives. Monthly in-person meetings are held midday on the second Tuesday of every month in Plainview, NY and other Long Island locations. All are welcome.
