This "In the Studio" workshop will focus on understanding the importance of having a strong business plan in order to make a career from creating music. This month we will head to The Grove Recording studio to discuss different ways of how to create music in a commercial music setting. The focus will be on pre-production and how to use a commercial recording studio to its fullest capability to benefit you, your artistry, and business opportunities. If you are a producer, singer/songwriter, or engineer please be sure to write down questions prior for the Q&A portion that will be held during the last 30 minutes of the session.
For any questions or concerns please e-mail Isaac at email@example.com, or please give us a call at (901) 527-1029.
John has been crafting his skills in and out of the studio for over the past 12 years. Operating a home studio for a few years and now working out of a multi-million dollar facility called The Grove. John has done numerous full lengths, demos and EPs. He has worked with a variety of different genres including folk, singer/songwriters, reggae, rock, country, world music, Gospel and bluegrass. John captures as authentic recordings as possible.
“Developing a relationship with the artist is very important. You need to know who it is you are working with so you can better accommodate and fulfill who and what it is you are capturing. Music is an experience! Music affects you emotionally, alters your perceptions and mood through sound.”
