Please join us Saturday, October 13, 2012 for the 2nd annual "In Her Shoes" 5k benefiting Women In Need.   Women In Need provides victims of domestic violence with much needed support such as protective orders, legal advocacy, support groups, emergency shelter and educational programs for our teens that teach them about the danger of Teen Dating Violence and how to spot it.  Your participation in this event will help Women In Need keep these services FREE to our clients.  Please help us make this event successful by bringing out your family, friends and co-workers.  The race will start and finish at Harry Meyers Park-West Pavilion located at 815 E. Believing that homes should be peaceful, Women In Need, Inc. strives to educate families broken apart by violence to live by nonviolent means.  By providing shelter to victims of family violence, working towards increased knowledge of the problem, and stressing viable solutions, the purpose of WIN is to eliminate family violence locally and to be part of a widespread movement to create a society that no longer tolerates the abuse of power through violence or any other means.

Women In Need, Inc. works towards breaking the generational cycle of family violence, eliminating the incidences of family violence locally and educating families broken apart by violence to live by nonviolent means.
