Improv 301 is the introduction to the concepts and rules of improv games. This class will focus on building a unique and interesting scene within the format of an established short form game.
The school manager Harrison Brookie is a trained educator who has spent several years teaching public high school. He was also a resident instructor at the DSI Comedy Theater in NC, which has heavily inspired our style and curriculum.
The instructor for this course is Meg Pierson. She has been performing improv comedy since 2004 and is a founding member of the Alchemy Comedy Theater. Education is also at the heart of what she did as the Program Coordinator Upcountry History Museum and as a private history tutor.
Each class runs once a week, for six weeks from 6:30-9:00pm and all students get free admission while they are enrolled in a class. Click on the course you would like to take to purchase online or you can call(864) 256-1467.
