Impact 20th Anniversary Vinarelli Fundraiser
Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM (PDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
The Board of Directors of the Impact Artists Gallery invite you to join us for an evening of watercolors, wine and friendship to celebrate our 20th year and honor our founding artists, Joan Hambleton, Diane Menchetti, Paulette Jurek, Patricia Broad, and Mary Jane Luce. This event is being held at the Tri Main Building on the 1st Floor (rather than in the Impact Gallery).
A “vinarelli” is a tradition in Torgiano, Italy which celebrates beautiful art, rich food and delicious wine. During this event, each artist starts a painting using watercolors mixed with a variety of colorful wines (rather than water), and after 20 minutes, they take a 15 minute “wine break” and move to the next painting in line to add to it. The painting ends, and the evening continues with an Italian feast and raffle of the newly created paintings and other prizes.
The cost to participate in this event is $10 for Impact Members and $15 for non-members artists. Those interested in the dinner and art raffle only may participate at a cost of $20. Artists must register by October 18th. Watercolor paper and paint will be supplied. Artists should bring their own brushes.
If you have any questions regarding this fundraiser, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call Maria Kowalski at (716) 579-4842.
