Imagine Atlanta Film Series: SWITCH ENERGY PROJECT (Free)
Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 7:00 PM to 9:15 PM (EDT)
Atlanta, United States
What will it really take, to go from the energy that built our world, to the energy that will shape our future?
Switch takes us on a spectacular journey through the world’s leading energy sites, from coal to solar, oil to biofuels, as we discover the realities of energy today, investigate the challenge of transitioning to alternatives, and get straight answers from international experts to discover the path to our energy future.
Our guide, Dr. Scott Tinker, "brings a visionary understanding of energy and its relationship to economy and environment, and lays out a plan that is both surprisingly and remarkably pragmatic."
Please join us on the evening of Tuesday, July 10th - 7pm at the Midtown Art Cinema for the Atlanta premiere & a FREE, one-time screening of Switch - www.switchenergyproject.com
A discussion and Q&A with local energy experts will immediately follow the film. (Switch runs 98 min.) Speakers include Don Francis, Executive Director of Clean Cities-Atlanta; Amelia Shenstone, a Coal Organizer for The Southern Alliance for Clean Energy; and Radiance Solar's Rand Knight, a recent Keynote speaker at the Eye on Earth Summit in Abu Dhabi.
