Join us for the UK premiere of "I'm Fine, Thanks" - a new, feature-length documentary about complacency. From film-makers Adam Baker and Grant Peelle, it's a stirring collection of stories about life, the choices we all make, and the paths we ultimately decide to follow.
“We want I’m Fine, Thanks to give thousands of people inspiration to live their lives based on their own hopes and dreams – not someone else's vision or script for their life. We want to push people to take the first small action to reignite their passions.” - Adam Baker
So, What's It About?
"I'm Fine, Thanks" is a movie about the factors that motivate and drive our major life choices. And, most importantly, whether or not the path we follow through life - and the habits we form based on that path - are truly connected with who we are as individuals.
This is a movie about the moment people realize the life they're living is not the life that's true to their heart... and, as a result, what they decide to do about it!
...it’s a collection of stories about the choices people make in life, what influences those choices, and how those choices lead us into specific life paths. It’s about the push to lead the traditional scripted “American Dream” and whether or not that dream is truly our dream or not (for each one of us).
Film-making partners Adam Baker and Grant Peelle made it because it’s an issue that’s impacted the very core of their lives, and the more they spoke with people the more they realized how universal a problem this is.
Every single person seems to struggle with it at some point.
They’re hoping the film sparks action. It’s really that simple. They want people to look at their lives and identify if they are living their own dream or if some of their choices have been influenced by somebody else’s vision for their life.
Most importantly, they want people to take small steps to realign their lives with the dreams and passions they’ve likely pushed to the back of their mind.
The New York City and Portland premiere's were filled to the rafters, and numbers for the London premiere are limited to just 80 people. Grab your ticket, join us, and see if it's the start of something amazing.
