Hello Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Test Analysts,
Happy New Year!!! The Greater Miami Valley IIBA Chapter is pleased to announce the next Chapter Meeting on Wednesday September 11th, 2013.
- Chapter News and Updates
- Feature Presentation
- BA Round Table Forum
Speaker: Dave Wolf
Topic: Soft Skills – Empathy and the BA
In this session we will examine what empathy is, why it might be useful to us as Business Analysts, and some practical tips to use in the workplace. Expect some fun interaction and activities.
Dave Wolf has a professional background mainly in IT where he has worked as a Systems Support Analyst, a Project Coordinator for a division’s software transition project, and many things in between. In high school and college Dave studied music. Tenor sax and bassoon were his major instruments. Dave is a life-long learner and always curious to find out more about the world and what it has in store for him next. The current focus on his learning has to do with understanding how people work, organizational development, and education.
