Listen. Think. Act.

Please join the Global Livingston Institute (GLI) for a lite breakfast on the morning of October 15th. Come learn about our exciting projects in Uganda and Rwanda and discover the impact of thoughtful action. GLI is celebrating the grand opening of the Entusi Retreat Center in Uganda, our new home at the Posner Center for International Development in Denver, and the completion of many successful immersion trips in 2013. We look forward to celebrating our recent accomplishments and sharing our ambitions for 2014!

The Global Livingston Institute

The mission of the GLI is to positively impact the health and vitality of communities in East Africa and inform GLI participants through research, exchange of ideas and knowledge sharing. To achieve this mission we believe we must: Listen. Think. Act. All roads must lead back to this very simple mission. Before we do anything we must first ask ourselves: have we first listened and spent some time thinking collaboratively and in community, before moving into action? Ideas and resources must be exchanged to empower a truly reciprocal relationship. We believe this mission has the capacity to help change how people talk and think about international development and East Africa.
