Visceral. Intense. Intimate. Private Places is a high-powered original work directed by Philadelphia-based choreographer Jumatatu Poe. You are the center of the action as idiosynCrazy Productions transforms the intimate Alloy Studios into the restrictive interior of an airline cabin. Private Places explores themes of exploseness and confinement, service and performance, possessions and identity, while probing deeply beyond surface assumptions about human relationships.
Featured dancers include Gregory Holt, Maya Johnson, Jumatatu Poe, Gabrielle Revlock, Michele Tantoco, and Point Park University alumnae Shannon Murphy.
This performance contains nudity.
Choreographer/dancer Jumatatu Poe was named a 2012 Pew Fellow in the Arts for his significant contributions to the creative community.
