Identifying The Risk – Sudden Cardiac Death and The Post-AMI Patient
Friday, May 10, 2013 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM (EDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
This lunch symposium will focus on the risk of Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD) in patients who have recently experienced AMI. Patients with ejection fractions (EF) ≤35% have proven high risk of SCD but, because of medical criteria and reimbursement considerations, are not candidates for an Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) until at least 40 days post-MI and 90 days after a revascularization procedure.
Lunch will be served.
