What to Bring
We will have an assortment of essential creative art materials, but if you have art supplies you can't live without (special pencils, notebooks, laptop, etc), please bring them. Laptops are very helpful with doing research on icons during the event.
Who Should Attend
If you have a passion for bringing new civic symbols into the world, giving back to your city and being creative and collaborative with others - you should come to this Iconathon.
We are inviting designers, design students, city employees, people from various organizations, professors, developers, cartographers and others.
This is a design & drawing focused event. However it is not necessary that you be a skilled artist to attend (check out blog post "But I can't Draw!").
