  • Tuesday, May 28 through Thursday, May 30 at WVIZ/PBS ideastream Studios, Cleveland, Ohio

Reception & Keynote Presentation

  • Tuesday, May 28: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at WVIZ/PBS ideastream Studios  
  • Meet & Greet light hors d'oeuvres followed by a keynote presentation featuring Pulitzer Nominee Clifton Taulbert and co-author Gary Schoeniger. Introduction and opening remarks by Thom Ruhe, VP of Entrepreneurship, Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. Booksigning available immediately following the keynote presentation.

Facilitator Training - WVIZ/PBS ideastream Studios, Cleveland, Ohio

  • Wednesday, May 29: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Continental breakfast and lunch are also included.)
  • Thursday, May 30: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.: training continued (Continental breakfast and lunch are included.)

Registration: The cost to register for the onsite facilitator training (at WVIZ/PBS Studios) is $995 per person plus processing fee.

The cost to register for those who wish to participate through the PBS Distance Learning Network is $795 per person. Registrations includes keynote reception, facilitator training and instructor’s license.

Note:  Seating is limited. Registration fees are non-refundable; however, you will be allowed to recommend another delegate from your institution to take your place.

Hotel accommodations: A discounted rate of $99/night has been negotiated at the Cleveland Wyndham Hotel on Playhouse Square which is located directly across the street from the WVIZ/PBS Studios. To secure your reservation at this discounted rate please email or call  Jamie Jelleson at 216-615-3322.  Be sure to ask for the Ice House Facilitator Training Group discount rate. Reservations made after May 1st may not qualify for the discounted rate. 

Parking: Free parking is available for facilitator training participants adjacent to the WVIZ/PBS ideastream Studios. More information regarding directions and parking is available here.
