ImprovBoston is proud to bring a showcase featuring some of the country's best standup comedians to Cambridge, MA on Wednesday, April 23 at 9:30 p.m. Hosted by comedian Chris Duffy (creator of WBUR's "You're the Expert"), this show will feature nationally touring comedians Myq Kaplan (Letterman, Conan, Comedy Central) and Nikki Glaser (MTV's Nikki and Sara Live, Last Comic Standing) as well as local legend Ken Reid (Boston Phoenix's "Best Comedian in Boston"). Come for a one-night only chance to see these hilarious comics perform together!
ABOUT THE PERFOMERS
Myq Kaplan is a comedian named Myq Kaplan (pronounced “Mike”). He is a 2010 Last Comic Standing Finalist and has appeared on the Tonight Show, the Late Show with David Letterman, Comedy Central Presents, Conan, and many other places that you might not care about. His debut CD, Vegan Mind Meld, was one of iTunes’ top ten best-selling comedy albums in 2010, followed by Meat Robot in 2013 and the upcoming Small Dork and Handsome in 2014.
Nikki Glaser is a comedian, writer, and host whose television appearances have included The Tonight Show, CONAN, and Last Comic Standing. She was the co-host of the MTV late night talk show, Nikki & Sara LIVE, as well as the popular podcast, You Had To Be There. She lives in New York City, performing nightly at clubs such as The Comedy Cellar and The Stand, and travels frequently as a nationally touring headliner. Nikki can currently be seen as a regular contestant on Comedy Central’s @Midnight and will guest star on the upcoming season of Inside Amy Schumer.
Chris Duffy is a standup comedian and improviser who has performed at colleges and festivals throughout the country (including SF Sketchfest, Harvard, Brown, MIT, The North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, The Cambridge Science Festival, and more). Chris is the creator and host of You're the Expert, a new public radio program where comedians try to guess what a leading professor studies all day.
Called a "pop culture maven" by the Boston Globe, Boston native Ken Reid has been performing for over 10 years in various capacities. Ken has performed at the Riot LA Festival, The Charleston Comedy Festival, The AltCom Festival, and The Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival.
