When & Where
Empire City Men's Chorus
Empire City Men’s Chorus is now in its twenty-first year and is renowned for its eclectic presentation of classical music for men's chamber ensemble. ECMC concerts highlight a variety of styles and compositions from both new and established composers of our time. As a gay and gay friendly organization, we see choral music as a compelling, artistic response to pressing issues affecting our communities and the communities of our peers.
Matthew Oltman is ECMC's Artistic Director and is Music Director Emeritus of the Grammy award winning male ensemble Chanticleer . He serves on the staff of Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY) in Program Development, where he helps to create educational/performance residencies for choirs from around the globe which take place at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
