The Hy Five for Kids luncheon helps the Hyland Hills Foundation raises thousands of dollars each year to make sure that no kid who wants to play a sport is turned away due to their family’s lack of funds. To date, we have provided more than 900 scholarships to participate in youth activities and summer camps.
You are invited to enjoy a wonderful FREE meal at Ciancio’s with us and hear more about this fantastic program. Everyone will be given the opportunity to make a small contribution. That’s really all there is to it – and you gain a chance to become a true champion to a deserving child.
Mile High Sports Magazine will present our keynote speaker, Darren “D-Mac” McKee co-host of The Drive on Denver’s top-ranked sports talk radio show on 104.3 The Fan. D-Mac’s love for sports started in the sixth grade playing Little League Baseball in Ipswich, Massachusetts. In 1999, he came to Denver and has been covering the Broncos for more than 12 years.
We will get you out the door by 1 p.m., however, if you can extend your visit, Hyland Hills would like to thank you for listening by inviting you to stay and play 9 holes of golf on our challenging Blue Course (weather permitting) for only $20 more which includes a cart!
This lunchtime event enables all attendees to be a part of a great cause and then enjoy some personal golfing fun on the same day.
When & Where
Hyland Hills Foundation
The Hyland Hills Foundation is a 100% volunteer-run organization designed to provide needed assistance to the citizens of the Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District community, particularly children. It was formed by a small group of concerned residents as a Colorado nonprofit corporation in October of 1992. The goal of the Foundation then and now is to assist the Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District in providing the very best recreational facilities to all persons, regardless of financial ability or background.
The Hyland Hills Foundation has sponsored many free activities for the community, including the annual Putts for a Purpose and the Be-A-Fish learn to swim program.
The Foundation provides financial assistance for participation in Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District programs to children of families qualifying for free or reduced school lunch.
