Daniel Docter is a Director with Intel Capital, the VC arm of Intel Corporation. Daniel focuses on investments in infrastructure for data centers, enterprises, and communications networks, covering topics such as software defined networking, cloud infrastructure software and services, management software and tools, and wireless / telecommunications infrastructure. He also covers the southern California region for Intel Capital (San Diego to Santa Barbara). Daniel’s past investments for Intel Capital include Switch Data Centers, Tier 3, Passave (acq. by PMCS), E2O Communications (acq by JDSU), Cyoptics, Stratalight Communications (acq by Opnext), Cortina Systems, Overture Networks, Bridgewave Communications, Fulcrum Microsystems (acquired by Intel), Adaptivity, Virident, and Aspeed (IPO on TSE). Prior to joining Intel Capital, Daniel was with Merrill Lynch as an adviser for clients involved in IPOs and M&A transactions. Ray leads a WW HP Cloud Strategist team who are instrumental in assisting senior executive decision makers in developing effective cloud strategies for their business. Ray has led expert teams tasked with augmenting organizational, cultural, governance and operational processes of HP customers so that shared services and cloud computing become a workable reality in their organizations. Ray has consulted with over 350 global accounts and worked with many partners to position effective solution strategies in assisting their customers in the areas of transformation, consolidation, operational improvement and next-generation computing. Ray has a wealth of experience in working with and learning from customer leadership teams at all levels of their journey to cloud.
Christian Teeft - Vice President Engineering, Latisys
Christian Teeft serves as the Vice President of Engineering and is responsible for delivering innovative, scalable solutions to enterprise customers, including managed compute, storage, security, network, backup and disaster recovery services. For the past nine years, prior to joining Latisys, Teeft served in various capacities at NTT America, most recently as VP of Product Development, Engineering and OSS. In that role, Teeft served as a core member of the management team responsible for setting the company’s strategic technology direction; and led multiple engineering teams responsible for Platform, Storage, Network, OSS, Custom Engineering, and DB practice. In addition, his organization was responsible for R&D of new products and services, managing and maintaining the hosting infrastructure for several data centers, and custom solution support.
