Hybrid Applications with Clemens Vasters
Friday, April 27, 2012 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM (CEST)
Hybrid Applications – Building Solutions that span On-Premises Assets and the Cloud
This session, presented by Clemens Vasters, Technical Lead for the Service Bus team at Microsoft, will discuss why and how to build hybrid cloud applications, what the patterns are, who’s doing it, and – obviously – how Service bus helps in building solutions of that sort. We’ll discuss devices (including things that aren’t smartphones or tablets) as much as we’ll discuss server-to-server. This presentation is an architecture session with minimal pre-built material, so feel free to bring scenarios to discuss.
Clemens Vasters is the Principal Technical Lead (short: Architect) on the Windows Azure Service Bus team. Clemens has been on the Service Bus team from the earliest incubation stages and works on the technical feature roadmap for Service Bus, which includes push notifications, and high-scale signaling for web and devices. Clemens is also a frequent conference speaker, Architecture courseware author, and a prolific Twitterer at @clemensv.
Win a “Windows Azure” Hot Air Balloon Trip
Microsoft Sweden has kindly given SWAG three hot air balloon ride tickets that we will be raffling to the attendees of the meeting. It’s a great way to see Stockholm, and make a move towards the cloud!
