Net Impact is proud to invite Booth to compete in the Hult Prize President's Challenge, a social impact case competition with a $1,000,000 prize on the line. Here are the facts:

The competition: The Hult Prize Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to launching the world's next wave of social entrepreneurs. It encourages the world's brightest business minds to compete in teams to solve the planet's biggest challenges with innovative ideas for sustainable start-up enterprises. Annual Hult Prize winners can make their ideas reality with the help of USD1 million in seed funding.

The 2014 Hult Prize "President's Challenge": Can we build a social healthcare enterprise that serves the needs of 25 million slum dwellers suffering from chronic diseases by 2019?

The details: The imagined social enterprise does not have to be about healthcare directly: it can be about improving health education, hygiene practices, etc. The question is: how will your enterprise help the over 250 million slum dwellers currently suffering from chronic diseases? Read the case here.

How to participate: We will be holding a mini-competition to find a team to represent Booth at the Regional Finals held on March 7-8, 2014. You may present as a team (up to four people) or as a single person (with the intent of filling out the team by the Regionals Finals.) The rules are simple: 1 slide, 3 minutes, and you/your team. Our panel of judges from around the Booth social entrepreneurship community  will announce a winner that will advance onto the Regional Finals.
