A big challenge of many neighborhood organizations is how to let your neighbors know you exist and how to keep them engaged? Join the 21st Century...take advantage of the Internet as a communication tool to deliver your neighborhood organization messages to keep your neighbors engaged. This is a hands-on workshop, utilizing computers to create an actual neighborhood website and a lesson in how today's latest social media networking tools can benefit your neighborhood? Experts will provide technical assistance and answer questions; however, basic computer skills are a pre-requisite.
The Community Connections Workshop Series is hosted in partnership by Orange County Government and the City of Orlando. The workshops are free to all Orange County residents no matter what municipality s/he may reside.
