Event Details

Want to help kids learn Scratch?  Teachers, parents and anyone in working with kids are all invited to this workshop on teaching Scratch. The workshop will discuss how to introduce the key features of Scratch, when to lead students and when to let them take over and how to work with different type of kids.  Learn about the resources on ScratchED and other sites and how to use Scratch in the classroom.

Note from Tara: We've held a few Scratch classes now and feel it's important to give parents the tools to continue supporting their kids at home when they are working on their Scratch projects. We are currently planning some intermediate and advanced Scratch classes and in order for us to do that we need more Scratch volunteers which is what this class will produce!
