Join us for our monthly breakfast meeting featuring guest speakers, Ben Warner, President & CEO of Jacksonville Community Council Inc. (JCCI) and Jan Korb, CEO of BroadBased Communications. They will be giving the insight into timing and tactics that it took to bring the initiative to the forefront of awareness, conversation and engagement - from concept to launch - within 45 days.

About the Guest Speakers
J. Benjamin Warner
Ben Warner is the President & CEO of Jacksonville Community Council Inc. (JCCI). He has been at JCCI since 1998, serving most recently as the organization’s Vice President before becoming the organization’s fourth executive leader since 1975.
At JCCI, Ben has staffed community-based public policy studies and implementation efforts on topics such as arts and culture, growth management, regional cooperation, and city finance. In addition, Ben works to develop, maintain and enhance JCCI’s Quality of Life Progress Report, the Community Snapshot, and an annual Race Relations Progress Report.
He serves as a consultant with Community Works, assisting multiple communities around the world in the creation of community-based public policy organizations and the development of community indicators. His publications include chapters in two books by the International Society of Quality-of-Life Studies, case studies for the Alliance for Regional Stewardship, and Leading Social Indicators: Measuring What Works, Making a Difference for the National Association of Planning Councils.
Ben completed his undergraduate studies in Sociology at Brigham Young University. He received his Masters in Social Work from Florida State University.
Jan Korb is owner and CEO of BroadBased Communications, a marketing communications firm located in Jacksonville, Florida. Founded in 1996, the company serves mainly B2B public and private clients across a variety of industries.
As CEO, Jan is responsible for overall agency management with each operation of the agency reporting to her. She also serves as the lead strategist in the development and implementation of marketing planning for BroadBased clients.
A graduate of Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Fla., Jan holds a BFA in Graphic Design. Prior to founding BroadBased in 1996, she spent seven years in the publishing industry designing regional and national magazines including Florida Trend, Mutual Funds Magazine and Jacksonville Magazine.
Jan is a member of IABC and AIGA and is a graduate of both Leadership Jacksonville and the Northeast Florida Regional Leadership Academy. She is a past recipient of the AAF Silver Medal, which recognizes those who have made outstanding contributions to advertising, and serves on the Board of Directors for The Blood Alliance and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida, chairing the marketing committees of each.
