Gretchen Hansen, Founder and CEO
Decorist

Gretchen Hansen founded Decorist and serves as CEO. Gretchen has spent her career successfully developing and launching innovative products in the consumer products arena. Prior to Decorist, she held marketing leadership positions at numerous consumer-focused companies, including Clorox, Del Monte and PeoplePC. At Clorox, Gretchen launched Tilex Fresh Shower, one of the most successful new product launches in company history. At Epicurean International, she launched Simply Asia, a pan Asian food brand that was a key driver in the later sale to McCormick for $100 million. Gretchen was also an early employee at PeoplePC, an early group buying startup that raised $120 million and IPO’d at a $1 billion valuation. At PeoplePC, she was responsible for developing key partnerships, including a deal with Ford Motor Company to sell its bundled PC product to 300,000 Ford employees. A Harvard MBA, Gretchen is passionate about understanding consumers and creating products that meet their needs.
