Pitch Perfect: How to Pitch to Anyone, Anywhere, at Any Time
Patrick Koppula - lecturer, entrepreneur, musician
Tuesday, July 17th, 7pm to 9pm
Whether you’re pitching to potential investors in a boardroom, an executive in a random elevator encounter, or to your mother who still doesn’t know what you do for a living, an effective pitch has the ability to reach anyone. Great pitches never reassemble the high points of other great pitches, but are uniquely suited to the situation and audience.
In this workshop, participants will review the basic building blocks of any great pitch. They will walk away with a working knowledge of how to architect those components to suit a variety of circumstances. Select graduates will be invited to perfect their pitch at a Cross Campus event held on Thursday, July 19th.
There are no prerequisites to this workshop – it is designed to accommodate those at the early stage of germinating their idea as well as entrepreneurs who want to enhance their pitch. The workshop will be kept small so that Patrick can spend time individually with participants.
Patrick Koppula is a Distinguished Lecturer at Arizona State University’s Arts, Media & Engineering department. He is a co-founder of GarageBand, iLike and ffwd. Patrick has a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard.
