Synopsis:

Richard Folsom will share a Private Equity investor’s analysis of the current Japanese market, giving a detailed overview of the current market, reviewing recent changes in the PE industry, examining the outlook and future expectations for PE in Japan, and providing a comparison with US and EU markets. Topics of particular interest to Mr. Folsom include Abenomics, its impact on the market, and how individual companies can take advantage of the window created by Abenomics.

Following Mr. Folsom’s remarks, Professor Bruce C. Greenwald, Director of the Heilbrunn Center for Graham and Dodd Investing at Columbia Business School and Neal Doying, Senior Vice President at Lazard Asset Management will respond and share their views on this topic.
