How to Believe in Yourself: The Path towards Career Growth and Achievement
Presented by Jason Koo, LUTCF, Managing Partner, New York Life Hawaii General Office

Most people, at some point in their life, have doubts about themselves and their capabilities.  Whether it is doubt about their strength, skill, experience, or talent; they come up with a reason as to why they should not do something given the perceived challenge.   Yet, we all are capable of accomplishing great things if we just had the belief and confidence in ourselves.  Join us for an enlightening presentation by Jason Koo, Managing Partner of the New York Life Hawaii Office, which services Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island.  This presentation will reveal his career path to becoming a managing partner and what motivated him to strive forward, despite that various challenges that he faced in his career.

Starting as an agent at New York Life, Mr. Koo rose to become a partner within three years.  By 2010, he was recognized as the #1 Partner in the Nation, out of over three hundred partners, and was promoted to senior partner.  By 2012, one of his agents became the #1 Agent in Los Angeles; and Mr. Koo personally assisted five financial services professionals reach the partner level and to achieve multiple national awards.  Today, he manages a team of over one hundred financial services professionals, where 2013 has been record year for the Hawaii office with nearly 20 percent growth.  Mr. Koo is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego and moved to Honolulu last year with his family.
