How the Newsroom Works: The Overnight Beat
Monday, May 12, 2014 at 6:00 PM (CDT)
Most nights, the Chicago Tribune’s overnight reporting team is out on the streets, racing to crime scenes and other breaking stories across the city while the rest of us sleep. Overnight crime reporter Peter Nickeas and Tribune photographers Abel Uribe and Jason Wambsgans take us behind the police tape to share their experience covering Chicago after midnight. Moderated by Chicago Tribune managing editor Jane Hirt.
$12, 6 p.m. Tribune Tower, 435 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago
