There has been a lot of talk and media attention about how to address the high school dropout crisis in America. We believe it is time to give you, our teachers, a voice.
PBS SoCaL, KLCS, and KVCR are hosting a televised Teacher Town Hall, sponsored by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. We want to capture your perspective and amplify your voice as a teacher. We hope you will join us for this very special evening. Everyone will have the opportunity to engage in a conversation around the factors that affect high school graduation rates.

American Graduate: Let’s Make It Happen is a public media initiative funded by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to help local communities across America find solutions to address the dropout crisis. The initiative builds on public media’s long-standing commitment to education by convening conversations and strengthening partnerships between public radio and television stations and local schools, businesses and community organizations to help students stay on the path to a high school diploma.
