This class is based upon the 8 hour U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development curriculum in order to provide unbiased information to prepare individuals for the biggest purchase of their lives: A HOME.

Our homebuyer education program will help prepare you for the responsibilities of homeownership, and empower buyers on how to make smart decisions throughout the home buying process.
A certificate of completion will be issued after attending your individual counseling session.

We are centrally located in Midtown Manhattan (MiMA) on 36th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues, close to New York Penn Station, PATH 33rd Street, A/C/E and 1/2/3 Subway Lines.

Please note this is an adult only class and there is no childcare available. Payments are non-refundable unless a request for cancellation is received prior to the scheduled class date. Upon request you may apply the registration fee to a future class.

The Housing Partnership’s homeownership counseling and education programs will provide all the necessary information, knowledge and tools to make smart, informed homebuying decisions. All classes are conducted by Housing Partnership Development Corporation, a U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) approved Housing Counseling Agency.
The homeownership counseling and education programs include: First Homebuyer Education & Counseling – a requirement for all down payment assistance programs and first time homebuyer mortgages, Landlord/Tenant Training, Credit Repair Boot Camp, Financial Capacity Building, First Home Club, and HomeFirst Down Payment Assistance.
