American Photo Safari has teamed up with the historic Houmas House Plantation and Gardens to offer you a day of learning and relaxation.
In addition to the plantation building itself, which contains 16 rooms filled with antiques and Louisiana artwork, Houmas House also encompasses 12 lush acres of gardens, ponds, paths and a majestic live oak alley.
Photography instruction is given throughout the journey to Houmas House and you'll learn about the deep-rooted history of the place on an official tour, led by guides in period dress.
Participants should meet in front of the St. Louis Cathedral, next to the Jackson Square gate. Don't be late! The van to Houmas House won't wait.
