Ventura Food Tours is pleased to announce...
Hops and Hooks:
Barrelhouse 101, 545 East Thompson Boulevard, Ventura
Thursday, July 18th, 2013
Always wanted to learn to crochet? Then join us for this one-of-a-kind event and prepare to expand both your palate and your crafting skills.
Throughout the course of the evening, you will participate in a hands-on crochet lesson with Anne Lecrivain, crochet instructor at Anacapa Fine Yarns, taste a series craft beers, and participate in Q&A with Barrelhouse owner Joby Yobe.
As you sip beer and work on your first project - a crochet bracelet - you will learn how to chain, single crochet, double crochet, add a new ball, and add decorative edging. You will leave with the instructions, patterns, and materials to continue your project at home.
This event includes a four flight beer tasting, a light snack, crochet instruction, crochet supplies, and all taxes and tip. Food will be available for purchase. Beginner and intermediate crocheters are welcome.
So, grab a few girlfriends, your book group or moms group, heck, grab your husband if you want...and get ready for a great time. We'll see you on the 18th!

*Class size is limited, so advanced reservations are suggested. If space allows, credit card payments will be accepted on the night of the event. Upon completion of registration and payment, guests will receive a confirmation email with more event details.
