Toms River Township will be hosting an informal Home Elevation Seminar for residents wishing to learn about the process involved in raising their homes.
-Roderick Scott from Louisiana, representing the Home Elevation industry, who will present a Power Point presentation on the techniques utilized to elevate homes after Katrina and other disasters.
-Gary Seider, P.E. and Steve Gencorelli, P.E., from Chance-Hubbel Power Systems who will present a Power Point presentation on Helical Pull-Down Micro piles for home elevation, which is a technique utilized to elevate homes without moving them off of the property.
-To be confirmed: A Structural Engineer will also speak.
The two-hour Seminars will be held at the Toms River East High School Cafetorium from 9:00-11:00 am and 11:00 am-1 pm.
Tickets are free, but residents must sign up to attend, due to strict fire code regulations.

This seminar is not a sales pitch, and you will learn what is involved in raising your home and how long a typical project will last."
