Interior Designer Angela Simoneaux Poirrier
Wednesday, October 16th
Networking at 11:30am, Luncheon from 12pm-1pm
Juban's Creole Restaurant
If you're like many of us these days, you spend quite a bit of time on Pinterest or Houzz drooling over gorgeously designed rooms, pinning articles about West Elm hacks, or collecting inspiration for a future space that you may or may not ever create. Maybe half of the guilty pleasure is being able to dream, to collect ideas, or to let yourself consider options that are way outside of your comfort zone.
Growing up and entering the family business was not just a reality for Angela, it was a dream. As a child, she could be seen in and out of the family-owned business dipping her little fingers into the design world. And at only three years old, dressed in her dancing outfit, Angela worked her first home design show.
In 1999, with a degree in interior design from McNeese in-hand, Angela would enter the professional field of design. She launched her career in professional development immediately, becoming a member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association as well as Capital Regional Builders Association. In the past five years, Angela has grown to serve as a board member and president.
With nearly 15 years of design experience, Angela has helped many homeowners in the capital area transform their homes from average to their forever home. She has played a significant role in the growth of the family business with one home showcasing concept generating over $1M in related sales.
Acadian House Kitchen & Bath Design has provided Angela with the platform to highlight her skills of conceptualizing design and attention to detail. Driven by the ambition to grow Acadian House to a $6M business in the next five years, Angela takes each project day-to-day to produce customer satisfaction at the highest level.
Pinterest, Houzz and other social media sites are just a few of the topics Angela Simoneaux Poirrier will discuss with us, in addition to simple design techniques that we can use in our own homes, something for the holidays, and something just for fun. Angela will also tell how she and her team market and promote Acadian Kitchen House & Bath Design locally, and the dramatic evolution of their marketing techniques from what they were just a few short years ago.
Networking and check-in begin at 11:30am, with the program starting promptly at 12pm.
Reservations are required, so please register by Monday, October 14th so that we may have an accurate headcount a few days before the luncheon. If you register but later find yourself unable to attend, we kindly request that you notify us at email@example.com so that we may cancel your registration.
